Rules
We do not like rules, but in order to respect the fish, the surroundings and other anglers we have found it necessary to just clarify a few points so that there is no misunderstanding.
- 3 rod limit
- Rods must not be left unattended, even for a short time
- No sacks
- No bent hooks, nailers or hooks bigger than size 6 (barbed only please)
- Safe rigs only, leads must eject if a line breakage occurs
- No helicopter or chod rigs
- No shockleaders
- No braided mainline
- 15lb minimum mainline
- No tiger nuts, peanuts, maize or wheat
- Particles must be properly prepared (can be purchased on site)
- No bait boats during high season
- Minimum 42" landing net with untorn mesh
- Large, thick unhooking mats only (mats can be provided)
- Please keep all nets, mats & slings wet when handling fish
- Please treat any damaged fish (antiseptic available)
- No fires or BBQs
- Please dispose of rubbish & cigarettes thoughtfully
- If you have a visitor please ensure that the management are introduced and they do not stay after dark for security reasons
- The boat is for working purposes and is not to be used for fishing
- No swimming
- Please close the gates at night
- Please do not use the lakeside or woods as a toilet, use the facilities provided
- No excessive alcohol consumption whilst fishing (if you want a party reel in)
- The management takes no responsibility for loss, injury or damage for you or your property
- Caravan to be left clean and tidy on departure (£50 deposit required)
- Anyone found breaking any of the above rules will be escorted from the premises without reinbursment
- Booking deposits are non-refundable
